Just to let you know all about the brand new Young Scot magazine recently launched in the Sunday Mail. It’s a modern, glossy, “handbag size” publication, reflecting the results of consultation and evaluation done with groups of young people last year. It’s still full of the usual news, competitions, opportunities and information that young people expect from Young Scot.

As well as being published as a supplement in the Sunday Mail it is also produced as an interactive, digital version and I would encourage you to have a look. You can find the magazine by going to

Please have a play around with it, you’ll notice that if you roll your mouse over certain links and images then they pop up and become links to a variety of websites. This can mean a link to a “little black dresses” website when you hover over Kylie on page3 or direct to the Learndirect Scotland website when you surf over the relevant logo on pg14. There’s also links to YouTube videos, discounters, virals, podcasts and lots more.  For the next issue rather than just running links to videos they will actually stream audio and video direct from the page. It’s a great way of making information available to young people in a new, interactive and modern way.
